The David Gemmell Legend Awards took place at the Magic Circle Headquarters on Friday, and a fabulous evening it was too! Tor UK’s very own Douglas Hulick’s Among Thieves was shortlisted for the Morningstar Award for Best Debut Fantasy. Also the wonderful cover, illustrated by Larry Rostant and designed by Neil Lang, was shortlisted for the Ravenheart Award for best cover art. Although we didn’t win, a fabulous evening was had by all. Patrick Rothfuss won the Legend Award for Best Fantasy Novel, Helen Lowe won the Morningstar Award for Best Debut and Raymond Swanland won the Ravenheard Award for Best Fantasy Book Jacket for Blood of Aenarion by William King.
