Next month (December 2012) we are reissuing Douglas Adams’ hugely entertaining Dirk Gently novels, DIRK GENTLY’S HOLISTIC DETECTIVE AGENCY and THE LONG DARK TEA-TIME OF THE SOUL, as well as the wonderful collection of his stories and articles, THE SALMON OF DOUBT.
To celebrate these new cover editions, which haven’t been updated since first publication in the late 1980s (with the exception of THE SALMON OF DOUBT, which was published in 2002), take a look at our previous covers, plus the original US covers, below. You can then scroll to the bottom of the page for the new look.

Love the new covers :) It’s a shame that the Dirk Gently TV series was cancelled, it was a good show. Also a shame we never got another H2G2 movie :( The world is just not ready for a visual representation of Adams’ wackiness.
